hey just feeling a bit blank in my head
possibly ..I have just been subjected to a question that hovers my community again and again
people always tend to define their existence ..Don't know why..And I wonder if it is really important
people ask.. Why u think ur jain/or do u follow jainism strictly..
well I say to those people that "YES" I do follow it strictly..But my strictly is strict above anybody else definition..my experience of 19(21-2(my first 2 years I was just a piece of flash) )years says that jainism is all about taking the spirit the inner self to a higher level by the the attainment of self control
self control is more then "eating habit".
-it includes control over thoughts
-killing ur ego and many more things
I has taken me to all the time pursue these two goals and believe me every day u try ..U feel the happiness of being closer to god and the pain of realization of smallness of my soul against the great one
life is not about defining things its about living ..and creating examples..
jainism says that thinking someone's/something' bad is nearly half as bad as doing it..
if so ..how many times have we stopped our thoughts from swaying to evil side..
. .so how many people have been forgiven by us for their harm against us..
..how many people have we acknowledged for their vital role in life..
..and to be straight how many times have realized the greatness of our parents who after a few years of married life have been sacrificing till date just make us a better person
we need widen the reach of our thought ..if we want to live an ideal life and understanding jainism will fetch us a gud enough tool to do so
more then benevolence to animals we need to show benevolence to fellow humans around us
believe me a gud start can be from now.
..Stop wasting time over thinking too much ,for centuries people have been doing that..Now we nee to stand up and start acting over our resolution and aims.
just peep under ur collar and see if ur believe to be acclaimed as humans ..and if answer is yes then ask "do I qualify to be hailed as follower of jainism.
